Synopsis

The Finger Players invites you to enter The Big World of Little Puppets, a Puppetry Exhibition held at Jurong Regional Library, from 6 September – 13 October 2021!

This exhibition invites curious minds into the fascinating world of puppetry, one of the oldest forms of human storytelling. Come with us on a journey spanning centuries and crossing continents, to explore interesting facts about puppetry throughout the world!

From Traditional Chinese Hand Puppets and Shadow Puppets, to Rod Puppets and String Puppets, come have your brain tickled by the possibilities within the world of puppetry!

This exhibition also features the puppets created by both the young and young-at-heart (from NTUC Health Day Centre for Seniors @ Taman Jurong). Come listen in on what these two very different generations of people, from different parts of Singapore, share with one another through their puppets!

Interact with the puppets by sharing your responses to them on social media! Use the hashtag #thebigworldoflittlepuppets, and don’t forget to tag us @fingerplayers.
