Synopsis
This is the story of Ah Ma and her beloved Sunflower.
One day, to save her Sunflower from wilting, Ah Ma enters a magical forest in search of a new home. There, the Sunflower thrives and becomes a sanctuary for the forest creatures. Ah Ma befriends them and tends to them.
Until one day, she no longer does.
Where the Sunflowers Grow is a non-verbal puppetry performance suitable for intergenerational families to gently reflect on the topics of loss and grief, as well as the cycle of life. It also seeks to bridge understanding between the young and the aged through shared reflections on life’s experiences.
