This Sponge Girl is a representation of time that a parent shares with their child, of a time when a young one is forming the way he sees the Colours of the world and of a time that will be encapsulated as a memory shared as they walk through the journey of life. This piece was done by my wife, my son and me.
BIOGRAPHY
Ebi Shankara graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 with a Diploma and a First Class Honors Degree in Acting from University of Essex in 2012. His acting credits include Wild Rice’s Pantomime – Pinocchio, Cinderellah! and Oi! Sleeping Beauty, Horse in Pangdemonium’s production of The Full Monty. Shankara is best remembered for winning Vasantham Star 2007, for playing Vinod in Finger Players restaging of Haresh Sharma’s Off Centre and Kenneth Bala on hit tv series KIN. He is recently seen on Checkpoint Theatre’s – Brown Boys Don’t Tell Jokes. Ebi Shankara is represented by FLY Entertainment.
