The New Adventures of Selfish Giant

Based on and inspired by the character created by Oscar Wilde, The New Adventures of Selfish Giant is a modern parable of cultural integration in Singapore. The children of the world have a secret garden; they enjoy playing and living in this paradise blessed with riches of the soil and a lush landscape that surrounds them. One day, another group of children discovers the secret garden and decides to make it their own. The differences between the two groups of children are apparent, leading to a clash between them over the rights to use the garden. Meanwhile, a selfish giant looms in the hinterland, threatening to drive the children away from the secret garden.
